Sue Wahl, partner of Two Sue’s with Comey & Shepherd Realtors talks with Prospecting Today on how she has seen the greatest success while prospecting.
Sue Wahl, a top producing agent in the industry, says the key to her success is as simple as talking to people. Wahl and her partner Sue Miller divide and conquer each morning, but still spend about 10-15 hours a week each making prospecting calls. Wahl and Miller use a software called Vulcan 7 to accumulate leads from expired listings and for sale by owners. When Prospecting Today asked Wahl after all of her success, why she continues to prospect, her reply was, “because they don’t call me.”
Wahl’s advice to any up and coming agent is to get a database started and start calling your sphere of influence. In her early years as an agent, Wahl didn’t have an accurate database and lost information because of it. Make sure you have a database to host past clients. Wahl and Miller followed Mike Ferry from year one of their business and attribute a lot of their success to his coaching.
