Everyone has a story to share. It’s important to figure out what it is in that story that will speak to others.
“It’s not enough to be memorable. You have to be remarkable. You need people to tell other people about you, for this to work. You need to give them something they have to share,” explains Valerie Garcia, storytelling consultant.
The toughest thing to do in marketing is figuring out how to inspire people. You’re in a business where all day long you help people. Curating those stories for your website is an effective way to showcase your talent.
You want to tell a memorable story? Make it relatable to the audience. If you have them nodding, saying, yes, me too, you’ve hit the mark.
“The number one thing you do as a marketer is getting people to change the way they feel. If they change the way they feel, then we change the way they think. You change what’s happening in their minds, you can change the way they act, and ultimately change their habits,” said Garcia.
Make all of your content relevant to your customer. Keep in mind while speaking, they are always wondering if what you’re saying can help them solve a problem.
You must always find the why in marketing. Why does it matter to them?
“When it comes to telling a story in a memorable way, it always comes down to three questions,” said Garcia.
What’s it about? Why does it matter to me (the customer)? And, what’s next? How can they use this info? You have to incorporate all of these answers into the story you tell through your marketing.
“You have to share a story that changes how others see the world. This is the formula for creating something so interesting, they will have to share it with others,” said Garcia.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Internet explorer. Excellent Blog!
