According to our survey of hundreds of real estate agents, those who prospect for 10-20 hours a week using a dialer are nearly 75% more likely to make at least $80,000 a year, compared to only 53% of agents who don’t use a dialer but prospect the same amount of time who hit the $80,000 mark. This shows that using a dialer while prospecting increases the likelihood of earning at least $80,000 by 37%.
It gets even better…
89% of agents who spend at least $200 a month on software and prospect for 10-20 hrs/week using a dialer earned at least $80,000 per year. This means that almost 9 out of 10 real estate agents who use a dialer, invest in business software, and prospect consistently earn a comfortable living – independent of all other variables.
Compare that to the agents who are spending the same hours on phone, but they do not use a dialer, and they do not spend on software, only 41% of those people earned $80,000 or more.
Take a look at the chart demonstrating these results, notice the dramatic jump in the statistics that happens when someone spends $300 a month on software. Their revenue jumps by more than 25%, but those who spend between $400-$500, their salaries jumped nearly 40% over those agents who don’t spend this amount on software. Once you get over the $300 a month in software spend, you now have access to your full potential market of people who can become clients. This is what these agents are taking full advantage of.
Compare those numbers with the 11.4% drop in pay agents see when they spend less than $200 per month on software. If they aren’t spending anything on software to help them generate leads, or less than $100 per month on software, they see a nearly 24% decrease in their earnings over the average agent surveyed.
You don’t see much of a jump in salary for agents spending more than $500 a month in software and online advertising expenditures. The sweet spot does appear to be with those spending at least $200 a month for software.
Statistics show that more money is made by agents who use a dialer.
The dialers help to capitalize on your time by providing the efficiency of when you encounter a voicemail, you hit a button that instantly. This technology boosting agents ability to prospect to higher numbers of people.
“I was initially intimidated by the idea of a triple line dialer, and I thought it would be overwhelming. Knowing it would provide more opportunity, I decided to give Storm
Multi-line a try. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The Storm dialer is so very user friendly. It has cut my prospecting time in half, and I reach my contact goals quicker, because it provides me so much more “talk” time instead of “wait” time. As a new agent, the Storm dialer is essential to my business,” said Heather Brown, an agent in Orem, Utah.
Bob Loeffler, a coach based in Arizona, encourages his agents to use the Mojo dialer. “It is the most user-friendly. It’s a three-line dialer. It’s a database. It’s the only database you would ever need. You could do neighborhood search. You can get the data of the phone numbers to call. You can get the for sale by owner leads, the expired leads, all of that stuff in one place. So literally if you had Fearless Agent and Mojo Sells you wouldn’t need anything else to get rich.”
Bottom Line
Use technology to help you be more efficient in your prospecting. The money you spend will more than pay for itself when you close more deals. You must be willing to put in the time to call potential clients. Software makes it easier to find viable phone numbers, then cuts down on your wasted time when getting voicemails.

You can google dialers for real estate agents. I know RedX has one, so does Mojo.
