“This instant response leads to a 14% conversion rate,” says Dorn.
Statistics show no one follows up on 40% of online leads. Too many agents are letting them slip through the cracks, because they don’t have a system in place to answer inquiries immediately.
Dani Blain is a California realtor who watched her business triple in one year once she started responding to on-line leads. When she hears someone say they’d prefer to work with the agent who listed the property, she replies with this: “We tell them we know the property well. Don’t you want someone to work for you on your behalf? I am someone who has your best interest in mind, versus the agent who has the seller’s best interest in mind.”
